The 18th century was the age of industrialization and steam revolution.  The 1970s brought the development of computerization. And now, the 21st century, can be the era of robotization. Robots have already supported us in some hard, monotonous and dangerous works.

Recently increasing requirements concerning the quality of life and production, as well as the repeatability of production and the need to further lower costs, drive robotization which now takes place very quickly. Step by step, robots relieve us from some housework, like cleaning or vacuuming. In factories,  people use sensors to constantly monitor production. Such sensors allow to measure temperature, humidity or pressure and send  data to a management system which can analyze them and make decisions automatically (with the use of AI).

In the nearest years, optimization of processes both in public life and logistics will require the support from robotics using AI. But the industry is still struggling with some big technological and financial problems. Investments, although expensive, will turn out to be profitable in the long run for industries and companies that decided to make them. 

Robotization is developing particularly fast in logistics driven by the e-commerce industry. From automatic warehouse management to transport networks, we will need further introduction of AI solutions and optimization in robotics.  Automatic transport systems using items identification technology, supported by GPS system or the Internet and using machine learning is the future of the automatics and robotics.  It will allow to further decrease industrial costs
